Different Types of Facial Cleansers

There are multiple reasons to choose the proper facial cleanser. We need to choose the correct cleanser to properly treat our skin.  To understand how to choose the correct cleanser, you would need to know your Skin Type. Below are a list of Skin Types:

  •  Dry Skin
  • Normal Skin
  • Combination

Each facial cleanser formula performs different for each skin type. Below are a list of Facial Cleansers:

Gel Cleanser:

This cleanser is ideal for oily skin and combination skin.

It has a gel-like consistency. This cleanser deep cleanse the skin, removing excess oil, clear clogged pores, and kills bacteria.

Cream Cleanser:

This cleanser is ideal dry and normal skin.

Cream cleansers are thick and creamy. Cream cleansers has moisturizing ingredients. This cleanser gently cleanse the skin and doesn't strip the natural oil from the skin.

Foam Cleanser:

This cleanser is ideal for oily skin and combination skin.

Foam cleansers are very Iight-weight. The Foam Cleanser start out as a cream or gel cleanser and converts to a foamy lather. This consistency removes excess oils.

Bar Soap:

I was taught in esthetician school that bar soap is not good for the skin. I was taught that bar soap dries the skin out. But, bar soap is back on the market with different ingredients and function. There are bar soaps that caters to each skin type and skin issues.
